Dear Chorus Families,
It feels strange not to communicate with you, and so I simply wanted to check in. I hope this email finds you well in this weird time. If this email causes any stress or worry, please disregard it. I’ve noticed that many students haven’t been accessing the chorus lessons on the distance learning document and so I wanted to just let you know that it’s there. (Located at the very bottom - Music, Band, Choir). My guess is that many are unaware that it exists. :)
My intention is to provide our chorus song practice tracks to our kids so that they can keep singing thru this disruption in their normal lives. If your child is missing chorus, they are welcome to use the chorus lessons to sing along - they are sorted by rehearsal groups. I will also be posting our previous concert songs back on the website - www.lusdmusic.weebly.com/chorus - so that our chorus kids have plenty of familiar songs to sing,as well.
As far as I know, our May 27th concert is still on the calendar as well as our River Cats performance. We will continue to plan for that until I hear otherwise from our administration.
I wish you calm and happiness. Please let me know if I can help you in any way.
All the best,
